The
son of a British diplomat, Henry was born in Baghdad, Iraq, spent his
early life in Egypt and the Middle East, and attended school in England.
When he came to Canada to attend
university, he fell in love with this country (and wife Darlene)
and never left!
Henry obtained his B.A. (Mount Allison
University), B.P.E. (University of Manitoba), Dip. Ed. (University
of Victoria) and taught school in Victoria for 14 years before
beginning a real estate career in 1987.
A gregarious "people person", Henry
welcomes the opportunity to meet new people and to be truly of
service to his clients.
He is also known for his active
fundraising in support of numerous charities and was the recipient
of the "Victoria Real Estate Board's" first "Community Service
Award."
A man of many interests, Henry is
an avid canoeist and model railroad enthusiast.
The Ravensdale's, with their children,
Ian and Sarah, have lived in Victoria for 27 years and in the
Cadboro Bay/Wedgewood area for over 10 years. Henry exemplifies
the Queenswood Realty "local area specialist" in real estate.
